Anytime we have put something ahead of God, we
have fallen asleep; we have "bought" an illusion.
Anytime we believe that our power, our safety, our
worth comes from something other than our 
Source, we have fallen asleep in the illusion.

A wake up call comes from our inner most Being.
It is a call to awaken to our true Worth. It is a
call to awaken to the Source of all solutions. It
is a call to see oneness, wholeness.

A wake up call, then, is a remembrance. We are
called to remember the peace within us. We are
called to come from center, from our heart. We 
are called to remember that God has a plan
beyond what we can see, a solution beyond what
we can come up with. We are called to remember
who we are and the divinity that resides in all
beings. We are called to remember the incredible
gift of each day. We are called to remember that 
we are Higher Powered and that this Power can 
take us beyond all illusion.

When do we receive wake up calls? We receive
wake up calls when we have moved away from
God as our Source. We receive wake up calls
when we are not being true to our Being. We
receive wake up calls when we have forgotten
who we are and everyone else is. We receive
a wake up call when we have fallen asleep in
an illusion.

A wake up call is not meant to bring us pain, it is
meant to show us we are caught in an illusion
that is not who we are. If we are attached to this
illusion, the wake up call can seem frightening.
But all wake up calls would call us home. All wake
up calls would bring us home to live in the heart
of our Source.
