My friend is trying to understand miracles.
Please discuss miracles and how faith and prayer
can assist miracles in occurring.
Often we look for signs of miracles happening around us. We
look for external signs and acts that prove miracles can occur.
But, in truth, the real miracles occur within us. The real miracle,
the real shift can be called a change of heart. Miracles ultimately
occur within, and as they occur within, we can start to see the
expression
of the miracles beginning to take place around us.
To come from a place of love instead of revenge is truly a miracle.
To forgive rather than condemn is the heart of a miracle. To
let
go rather than try to control life creates miracles. What we
see
and experience around us is the result of the miracles within
us.
To look upon the world with compassion rather than judgment allows
miracles to happen. Inviting in willingness for another way is
the
seed of the miracles. Inviting God to be the solution in our
life
begins the miracles.
Faith in miracles is not about the evidence outside of us; faith
in miracles begins with a change of heart, a change of mind within
us. When the miracle of love finds a home within us, we begin
to
see miracles everywhere. We will experience the miracles of relationships
being healed. We will experience the miracles of real connections
of
those we love. We will experience the release of old pain and
resentments.
We will see beyond what has limited and blocked us.
If we look for proof of God's miracles around us, we will miss
the
point. The real miracles, the real beginning is what takes place
when
we invite God's miracles into our heart. For it is from our heart;
it is from our divine being that all miracles flow.
Prayer:
Let miracles begin in my heart, in my being.
Let the miracle of love, compassion, forgiveness within me
begin all the miracles around me.
God, will You be the miracle that begins with me.
For your consideration,
