We've forgotten how to ask. We have become afraid to ask - simply to ask. We attempt to ask with manipulation, with anger, with using pain, with tiredness, with tears, with desperation. We think we need these things in order to ask. Asking has become very confused. But, asking with any of these things is not asking. There is asking and there is all the stuff we bring into the asking. Let us not confuse the two. Our real asking is always quite simple. The stuff we bring into the asking makes it seem quite complicated. So, for the moment, we will simply use this reminder: Asking over
